Naomi

Okay, so I haven't gotten the chance to write about the past three days, so I'm going to try to write as much as I can remember even though it's not right after the fact. Basically, I've simply been spending tons of one on one time with my best friends. It's really great.

First off, Saturday I spent the day with Naomi. I woke up at around 11, probably, and then met up with her at the farmer's market by Lake Merritt, the filthy man made lake that's pretty at night but that you'd never want to fall into... We got our usual, Nectarine for me, Honey sticks and Kettle corn and this sort of spinach crepe like thing, but not a crepe... I just don't know how else to explain it, with hummus this time, for a change, and limeade. We tend to find what we like and stick to it hehe. Then we found a shady spot and laid there for at least an hour, after we scarfed down the food because as usual, neither of us had eaten because we were saving all the room we could for the yummy food at the market. Then the shade moves, and we eventually moved, but not before I got a sunburn. Not to mention that for some reason there was a silly little patch of sun that was right on me! So I've been collecting this burn for quite a few days because I'm almost always in a tank top, so now I have really distinctive tan lines where my straps are! But it's all good, I tan lines used to bother me but their so unavoidable that I just gave up. We can't go around without clothes on, now can we? So we're bound to have lighter spots. It's annoying, but hopeless.

We were trying to hang out with Hanna too, but that didn't work. We even bought her some kettle corn, but I haven't seen her yet, so I ate it. And I ate the nectarine we got her. But we bought her a bazillion honey sticks, which I really hope she likes, which I'm definitely saving for her. It sucked she ended up not being able to come.

So we went back to Naomi's and watched Chocolat, which was sweet but not the best best movie ever. I didn't like it though, it definitely falls in the good movie category. It just didn't blow me off the couch. Then Naomi's mom took us to get burritos for dinner, and I completely forgot that me and Dad were supposed to go to Chez Penise! So we re scheduled for Thursday night, which I intend to keep. I'm excited!

Then we ate and watched Ever After, which is one of my most favorite movies! Apparently it's one of those that a ton of people watched as kids and have been watching all the time, but some how I missed it. So I've seen it three times this summer, and it's uber sweet! It's essentially the "real" story of Cinderella. After a while, I went home because I hadn't planned on staying over and I didn't want to make that plan at the last second. We just talked and caught up a bit, I enjoyed hanging out with her.
